abstract = "This project has the purpose of exposing a research related to
analysis of the temporal space of the Bairro Novo, in the city of
Olinda on the state of Pernambuco. With the support of the
Cartographic Engineering Department of UFPE. Photointepretation
and photogrammetry techniques were used to develop the methodology
employed. In the visual photointerpretation we use elements of
recognition, which serve as a guide of elements in the process of
recognition and identification of targets on the terrestrial
surface by means of an aerial photograph or satellite image. In
the present work, digital orthophotographs were obtained from
CONDEPE / FIDEM from May to June 2016 and followed by orthophotos
obtained at COMPESA - Companhia Pernambucana de Saneamento -
Period. The orthophotomap is found in the scale 1: 10,000 on SAD
69 datum in the 1986 epoch. The orthophotos available is found in
the SIRGAS 2000 datum in the epoch of 2014. Such materials
constitute the cartographic base used in the study, whereas the
basic elements of visual photointerpretation are tonality and
color, shape and size, pattern, texture, association and shadow.
Works that aim to make space-time analysis are important because
they provide diagnoses of these changes by obtaining statistical
and qualitative data about the evolution of a given area, besides
as assisting in the process of urban planning that is of vital
importance for decision-making about the physical environment.",
